中国出口商品交易会，又称广交会，创办于1957年春季，每年春秋两季在广州举办，迄今已有四十余年历史，是中国目前历史最长、层次最高、规模最大、商品种类最全、到会客商最多、成交效果最好的综合性国际贸易盛会。
广交会一期境外采购商到会、出口成交有所增长。境外采购商到会10.7万人，与上届同比（下同）增长8.4%，首次参会的境外采购商约占四成，提高2.2个百分点。其中新兴市场增长较快，金砖国家（印度、俄罗斯、巴西、南非）增长19.9%；东盟增长22.4%；传统市场普遍下降，欧盟下降10%，美国下降3.7%；日本采购商数量略有增加，反映震后对我价格合适的消费品需求增加。利比亚、科特迪瓦、突尼斯、巴林、埃及采购商下降8%-80%。

China Import and Export Fair,also called Canton Fair, is held twice a year in Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957. It is China’s largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. Preserving its traditions, the Fair is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.
The first phase of the 109th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) began on Apr. 15 and closed on Apr. 19. About 102,242 purchases visited the fair, up 9.05% from the 108th fair, also higher than expected. Industry players said it was a sign of global economic recovery. The purchasers from Japan totaled 1,804, up 9.80% from the last fair, which means that the demand surged after the earthquake hit Japan. The purchasers from Europe were 10,614, up 2.10% from last fair while America purchasers were 2,566, up 3.89% from last fair.
